the volume of light, a girl running away from the restrictive environment in her family at the night of her debutante ball, ending up feeling liberated but overwhelmed and frightened out in a city at night filled with fog.

As dawn breaks, sunlight is captured by the mist, slowly revealing the bright summer colors of morning daylight.

The collection visually guides us through a different story, starting with 21st century chastity belts with distressed embroidery in an effort to ban all light from life in a fetish caricature of upper class conservatism and the need felt to hide the true self.
The escape, feeling insecure and lost at first, hazy colors and hints of light to later be followed by the discovery of freedom, color and light, translated in contemporary unrestrictive cuts and vivid colors.
