Hilda Maha’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection is light, luxurious, dreamy, positive and feminine.

Spring-Summer 12's collection highlights Hilda Maha’s aptitude for combining striking prints and rich block colours with sophisticated shapes, sharp tailoring and luxurious hand made embroideries.

The inspiration looks at Albanian folk costume and tradition with a nod to the '70 and '40 for a timeless yet bang on trend look.

The cut and fabrics elongate any female frame with flattering shapes making the collection confortable and easy to wear too in order to always feel impecable wheather working, travelling, hanging out or partying.

Everything is entirely made, handfinished and hand embroidered in Italy with great attention to detail, and finished off with matching mother of pearl buttons.

Prints create unexpected surfaces and textures on 100% Italian matte silks, creamy silk chiffons and luxurious silk maroquenne that move beautifully with the body in black, cream, burgundy and cornflower light blue.

Hilda Maha introduces strong separates, tailored handmade smoking jacket and trousers, perfect silk blouses, skirts, and dresses, all accessorized with bags and belts in Italian leather and exclusive prints which complete the collection.

A collection designed for real women, sensual, feminine and ironic, mixing sharp, soft and fun.

Born in Albania and raised in Italy, Hilda Maha studied Fashion and Textile Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Whilst studying, Hilda perfected her skills designing collections and prototypes for several designers and tailors as well as freelancing.
