Shaped by the geometry of the star, our unique design philosophy has a highly distinctive and contemporary style. For the last 4 seasons, Empire’s Union has been blurring the line between casual and formal, offering instead a complete vision that transcends both. This fresh approach introduces a sense of innovation and movement to an often predictable and repetitive landscape. Each detail of an Empire’s Union garment is a complete reinterpretation of its given function; be it a collar in two parts or a hollow cuff that interlocks. Our designs convey a natural logic that celebrates function and harmony while rejecting the superfluous.

‘End Signal’:

The Autumn/Winter 2012/13 collection is a reflection of our analogue age slowly giving way to digital progress. In true analogue fashion, our muted colour palette combines bright and dark yarns into single colours - the rich chambray effects also remind us of the gentle fuzz of TV interference. As an extension to this, the collection continues on a two-colour theme that combines our signature cuts and details with an exploration into pleated forms. This season sees the collection extended to include jacketing and trousers while also welcoming back our T-shirt range.
