only one day left to go before we show to all the buyers and press at the Profile Fashion show in London. Getting a little nervous but I think that we have our set all ready to go, just have to load it into a van and drive it to the venue very early on Thursday morning and then assemble it! Should have plently of time though.
It all kicks off about 2pm and we will be featured on two catwalk shows. We have the final fitting on the models tomorrow so hopefully all goes well!
Cant wait!

The Christopher Waller Spring Summer 2012 collection “A Shot Across the Bows” continues to provide women with clean lines, block colouring and luxe fabrics. Core inspirations were taken from the Mediterranean and the glamour of the Côte d'Azur in the late 80’s and early 90’s. These influences have been brought back to London to give the collection an air of effortless sophistication, translated through Christopher Waller’s minimal and wearable handwriting.
The collection plays on modernism, focusing on proportion and fit to make the stripped down silhouettes captivatingly glamorous. Minimal is sexy.
The muse, Charlotte Casiraghi represents this season perfectly. Carrying all of the style of her maternal grandmother Grace Kelly, Charlotte beautifully portrays the handwriting of this collection on a daily basis: sophisticated, luxurious and minimal.
The combination of crisp white jersey’s and fluid silk crepe’s gives a clean and modern result. The palette includes fleshy dusk pinks, classic French navy’s and sapphire blue’s that swim luxuriously throughout the soft jersey and silk story. Light linens can be found in pieces like the ‘All at Sea’ culottes and a Christopher Waller take on the classic cigarette trouser. Light unstructured tailoring in pale greys and charcoals moves on from a soft tailoring story started in AW11.
This broader collection from Christopher Waller reflects both the success from previous collections and the increasing international interest as one of London’s most exciting emerging brands. Christopher Waller remains committed to manufacturing all his pieces in London using UK and European sourced fabrics.
