PREFALL 2012 COLLECTION: "Back 2 D Future"

Nicola Finetti’s Prefall collection takes us to a retro-fitted vision of the future reminiscent of the mysterious neo-noir genre. Persian blue, stone and black with hints of hot pink and yellow take over our screens in city-chic and feminine shapes. Finetti fuses the 60s, 70s and 80s into a range where fitted bodices meet layered full circle skirts with a small roe also going to asymmetric designs and a-line skirts. Leather accents, clever drapery, pleating, floral prints and cheeky sheer paneling all play parts in the upcoming fall season and the detective comes alive with the collection’s long black coats that feature an innovative mix of patterns and textures.
