MINNAPALMQVIST

MINNAPALMQVIST is a conceptual fashion brand based in Stockholm, Sweden. The work of the brand is interdisciplinary, and stretches from slouchy t-shirts to customized handmade garments and art projects. Within the project “Intimately Social”, MINNAPALMQVIST investigates and experiments with the view on the female body within the western society. Can something unwanted be made attractive?

Intimately Social 7.11

Nov 14. 2011

Photo: Anna Rönnqvist

The shapes of Intimately Social 7.11 are heavy and drapey, as if the garments were on their way off the wearer's body. With materials ranging from the softest Swedish reindeer nappa, to heavy silicone push-up pads and delicate jersey, this collection represents the ever changing nature of the body.

The collection is inspired by a videoinstallation made in 2010, that you can see here!
